Kimberly Crest House & Gardens
Location: 1325 Prospect Park
Hours of Operation:

Built in 1897, the "castle" is a magnificent example of lavish Victorian architecture. In 1963 Kimberly Crest was donated to the city of Redlands. The house and gardens are open for public tours Thursday - Sunday, 1-4.

 

San Bernardino County Museum
Location: 2024 Orange Tree Lane
Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Sunday, 9:00 to 5:00

The San Bernardino County Museum is a regional museum with exhibits and collections in cultural and natural history. Special exhibits, the Exploration Station live animal discovery center, extensive research collections, and public programs for adults, families, students, and children are all part of the museum experience.  Open Tuesdays through Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Open for certain Holiday Mondays which include: Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day

The Asistencia
Location: 26930 Barton Road
Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 to 3:00

Established in 1819 as a part of the Mission San Gabriel's Rancho San Bernardino, the original Asistencia or more correctly - Estancia functioned as an outpost for cattle grazing activities.  The Asistencia buildings we can visit today are reproductions built in the 1930s and located approximately one mile east of the original Estancia site.

Historical Glass Museum
Location: 1157 North Orange Street

No, Redlands Glass Museum is not a museum made of glass, but it is the only museum west of the Mississippi River limited to displaying glassware made by American glass makers and artists. The Historical Glass Museum exhibits 6,000 examples of glass pieces housed in a 1903 victorian styled home. Some of these pieces date back to the 19th century while other are more modern and contemporary.

- Free Group tours weekdays by appointment

- Private tours $4.00 per person - groups of 10 or more

Lincoln Shrine
Location: 125 W. Vine St.
Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Sunday 1:00-5:00 PM Closed Mondays and holidays except Lincoln's birthday

The Lincoln Memorial Shrine is the only museum and archives dedicated to the study of Abraham Lincoln and the American Civil War west of the Mississippi River. Its extensive collection of manuscripts, diaries, images and artifacts is maintained by the Special Collections Division of Smiley Library.
