Parks

  • Redlands Theatre Festival @ Prospect Park (909-792-0562) www.rtfseason.org >Prospect Park created in 1897 is a unique botanical treasure. Outdoor theatre takes place at the park in July and August.

  • Ed Hales Park > A downtown park located on Historic State St.

  • Sylvan Park >Adjacent to the U of R, includes a rose garden.

  • Ford Park- >A large park with a duck pond, picnic areas and lighted tennis courts. Located at the corner of Redlands Blvd. & Parkford Dr.

  • Caroline Park >The park features jogging and horse trails, wildflower meadows and a nature study area. Located at the corner of Sunset Dr. & Mariposa.

Museums and Landmarks

  • Kimberly Crest House & Gardens- 1325 Prospect Park (909) 792-2111 >www.kimberlycrest.org. Built in 1897, the “castle” is a magnificent example of lavish Victorian architecture. In 1963 Kimberly Crest was donated to the city of Redlands. The house and gardens are open for public tours Thursday-Sunday 1-4.

  • San Bernardino County Museum-2024 Orange Tree Lane (909) 307-2669 www.co.san-bernardino.ca.us/museum. >The County Museum was established in 1957 in Bloomington and was relocated to Redlands in 1974. Edwards Mansion, built in 1890, is located behind the museum. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 9-5.

  • The “Asistencia” 26930 Barton Road (909) 793-5402 >Ranch outpost of The Mission San Gabriel. Operated by the County Museum, open Tuesday-Saturday 10-3.

  • Historical Glass Museum 1157 North Orange Street (909)793-3333 www.glassmuseums.com. >Housed in a 1903 Victorian style home, the museum displays American glassware from the early 1800’s to contemporary times.

  • Hillside Memorial Park & Cemetery 1540 Alessandro Road 798-7569 >The park was incorporated in 1886. It is the oldest continually running business in Redlands
